We are currently seeking applications for a part-time Digital/Social Media Assistant Account Executive

Nevins & Associates is looking to hire a part-time Digital/Social Media Assistant Account Executive to help with the development of video and photo social media content for a range of clients. This individual should have an artistic eye and an attention to detail. The candidate must be willing to travel to local content shoots and have reliable transportation.

 

  • Experience using DSLR cameras to collect still photos and video footage

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom

  • After Effects experience is a plus

  • Experience using social scheduling platforms is a plus

  • Develop social media calendars, boosting, reviewing analytics to course correct, etc. for maximum visibility

  • Strong writer

  • Organized, detail-oriented, can easily multi-task, meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, WordPress platform

Full-Time Opportunities

 

We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Account Executive.

Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day marketing needs of clients including media relations, digital marketing/advertising, social media, and follow-through, among other initiatives. Additionally, candidates should be strong writers, able to develop relationships with reporters, able to juggle many tasks in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Knowledge of event planning and sponsorship negotiation a plus. Should be an aggressive self-starter with lots of creative ideas. Digital marketing certifications a bonus.

Minimum requirements:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience; agency experience preferred

  • Strong writing and message development skills

  • Knowledge of social media platforms, Sprout Social software and social media marketing campaigns

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, SEO, and website management

  • Demonstrated success in strategic media relations and complete knowledge of the news media

Internships

Nevins & Associates is looking for motivated college students for internships.

 

The intern will be asked to work remotely approximately 10 hours per week, with the schedule and duration of the internship to be mutually decided. This internship can qualify for college credit if arranged with the University by the student. A merit-based stipend may be provided at the end of the internship.

Nevins & Associates offers two internships per semester during Spring (January-April), Summer (May-August), and Fall (September-December). To apply, send a resume, cover letter, and writing samples to  Emily Greco.

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with developing, writing, and distributing approved press releases and pitches 

  • Assist with content creation including social media copy and graphics 

  • Assist with organization of client photos, bios, marketing materials, and videos 

  • Assist with the planning and execution of special virtual events, as needed 

  • Assist with list creation through media databases (Meltwater and Cision) 

  • Assist with organizing media clips and preparing for virtual client meetings. 

  • Actively participate in brainstorm sessions and staff meetings

Requirements 

  • The internship application is open to currently enrolled college students with preference given to juniors and seniors. Previous internship experience preferred but not required. 

  • Student should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Digital Marketing or Journalism (or equivalent) 

  • Relevant coursework in the field of public relations, social media, or marketing. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written; familiar with AP Style 

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously 

  • Graphic design, video content creation, and/or social media scheduling experience is a bonus. 

  • The intern should be enthusiastic, professional, and eager to share creative ideas. 

We are currently seeking applications for a Fulcrum Intern

Nevins & Associates is looking for a motivated intern to assist with managing the day-to-day activities of The Fulcrum, a digital, nonprofit and nonpartisan news organization. The Fulcrum covers efforts to make our democratic republic less partisan, elections more competitive, politicians less beholden to moneyed interests, officials more attentive to real evidence in their policymaking and Congress more effective.
