KIRSTIE DURR

Kirstie is a veteran in the marketing, communications, and public relations industry with 30 years of experience. She has worked at GKV in downtown Baltimore and for the last 20+ years has risen in rank to EVP at Nevins & Associates. She has helped the firm’s President David Nevins grow the firm to become one of Baltimore’s premier power players.
With clients locally, regionally, and nationally, Durr supervises a staff, and the day-to-day activities for many of the firm’s clients. Her expertise includes strategy development and counsel; media relations; event planning; identifying, developing, and executing creative marketing solutions; and negotiating major community partnerships.
These efforts have included crisis management, new product launches, branding campaigns, development of mutually beneficial community partnerships, successfully navigating sensitive PR initiatives, fostering beneficial relationships, using her PR prowess to support lobbying initiatives in Annapolis, and more.
She currently sits on the HarfordTV Advisory Board, Harford County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee, Harford County Public School Career & Technology Education Citizen Advisory Council, and the Maryland Center for the Arts events committee. Over the years she has served on many other boards and committees for organizations including Harford County Education Foundation, the Maryland Parent Advisory Council (M-PAC), the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Cystic Fibrosis, Junior Achievement, Harford County Ethics Commission, Youth’s Benefit Education Foundation, Maryland Women’s Heritage Center, The Center Club, among numerous others.
She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College. She resides in Fallston with her husband Dan Durr, a Comcast Customer Service Executive.
